Boutique hotel look & feel for retail pop-up.

Figgoscope Curates approached us to help realise the launch of their new contemporary range of finely crafted homeware and art pieces. They’d secured a Fitzroy art gallery and wanted to create a pop up showroom to introduce Australian specifiers, homeowners and media to Portugal’s special take on homeware. Our challenge was to bring a sense of intimacy: “home" in a residential sense and “home away from home” for a boutique hotel feel to show how readily adaptable Figgoscope’s pieces are for commercial or residential application.

We divided the lofty volumes, creating rooms within a room and providing Figgoscope with two disparate yet connected spaces. Each space was designed as a bedroom with textured finishes and warm moody hues to complement the homewares and create sophisticated and inviting interiors, with quirky touches such as the sculptured sconces.
